ok so my rear windows dont work right they will roll down fine but going up they seem like they are skipping i took my door panels apart to find that i have the metal gear window motors and nothing is stripped is the motor bad can i replace just the motor or do i have to get the whole assembly motor and gear together

I'm guessing the bushings in the transmissions are going bad. Here's the sticky thread about it:
