It's the same steering wheel that's in Boxes. I dunno if there ever were any boxes with black interior.

If it was tan I'll tell you to send it my way and I'd send you $40, but since it's not tan I don't want it. I suppose I could paint my steering column trim black and it would look acceptable. That wheel was only used '83-'84, after that they changed the way the mount. You can use it on earlier ones, but not later ones.

Signature Series Towncars existed in black leather interiors, but not super common. You're probably looking at a fairly low supply, but equally low demand item unfortunately.

This steering wheel looks exactly the same as the one in my Townie, only with a different center cap and wrapped in leather. Weird...

I thought the only thing that was changed was the horn button being placed in the middle, which pops out and the old style plastic piece can fit in its place. I'm not 100% sure but i think i put an '85+ one in when i switched my interior and it worked fine. So i think it would fit in an '85+ box, but the horn wouldn't work.

That's a good lookin' steering wheel. I'd like to have one for my car, but I'd like to have the cruise controls.
