I baught a mini tach but im not sure where to mount it, I dont want to put a hole im my nice crack free dash but I dont want it down below

I think that would be the best spot for it. You can also mount it on the steering column too.

I also didn't want to ruin my dash by screwing it in, so JB welded the little flat mounting pad thing to the bottom of the tach bracket and then stuck the whole thing on the left side of my dash with 2 sided tape. Still holding!

i mounted mine on the steering column.. the only view obstruction is the gear indicator, so as long as you know that order you shouldn't have to look up over the top of it.. i believe it's a 5" hose clamp that you need to make it look nice, like $2 at the hardware store.Comment

Mine is mounted to the steering column as well, I used a few black zip ties to avoid scratching up the steering column. My tach is full size, and I can still see everything pretty well, except the gear indicator as stated above.Comment
