I'd guess that the 2door lincoln is going to be the same wheelbase as a 2 or 4 door vic or mgm, and the 4door towncars are longer than all of the previous.

Who knows what they did. Just seems strange to me that they'd use different chassis and such for a two door Lincoln. They didn't for a two door GM/CV.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
