Why are these so hard to find? I swear I have the only 83 with non-pulse wipers. The switch is bad and needs to be replaced before snow flies for real. Does anyone have one sitting around? Or know of a place to get a new one?

Its easy to upgrade to the intermittant wiper switch. There is just an extra length of wires, and a little box that plug between the standard wiper plug, and the intermittant switch.

will an intermittant switch/ lever work as non-intermittent if you plugged it in without the module?

I pulled two intermittant switches on Sunday at U-pull. Wiring connector is the same, didn't see any jumpers between the switch and other wiring, I'll have to go back and look.
