It looks like the main unit will bolt right in place of my trunklid catch, and looks like it even lines up right with the latch
The upper switch might be the trouble... if I cant swap the latch onto my bracket, Im going to have to try and swap the little switch and wiring off the donor latch and onto mine. The latches looked maybe a little different so I may have to do some modifying :hacksaw:
I was hoping I could eliminate this switch, but it being open tells the pull motor to stop in the up position. The lower switch tells it to stop in the down position, but only when the upper switch is closed as well.
Take a look at the attached wiring diagram (courtesy of Thaine (gadget) along with most of the parts) and the short video clip of my testing to see how the thing behaves with the switches.
Hopefully soon I will have video of my trunk getting pulled down
