Probably the only shiny part under the car, other than the shocks! Transmission fluid came out where the vacuum hose connects, explains why it felt like it needed a tranny service...

Oh how I love emergency repairs. The brake lines running off the master cylinder both rotted where they meet the frame. I went ahead and replaced all four lines up front and used Copper Nickel. I hate doing brake lines, so the plan is to never do them again!

Yeah brake work sucks. I just had to replace the rear calipers on my minivan because the pistons decided to crack and hold pressure. Another reason salt sucks, rusty brakes are the biggest pain ever.

Yep, I hate brake lines, let alone anything that holds brake fluid, more than any other part on a car! I'd rather do transmission work!

I had to run new calipers and hoses too. The first bleeder broke off, so I figured for how cheap they are, I might as well. I used turquoise enamel paint, then cleared over it with some VHT. It holds up okay enough, but looks killer at least.

Got my Mickey's on finally too! Looks like my heads have been redone at some point as well, those keepers sure do look clean...

Side note - Autolite plugs suck!! Four of mine were fouled out after about 2k on them. Back to Champions...

Can't wait to hear it hooked up to the glasspacks, looks like those will help tremendously, stock manifolds were terrible on old cars.

Love that caprice! If it was a two dr aero coop then I'd shit. There are still a couple around here.

I'd love to have an aero coupe too, or a wagon... But then again, I do love the nose on my '78!

These shorty glasspacks are going to be interesting, I've never used them, but a friend did on a 302 swapped fox body Mustang. He didn't have headers, and it was louder than my Crown Vic was with 18" core glasspacks and headers.

My x-pipe arrived in the mail Thursday too, so the exhaust should be going on Monday!
