Looks great! I have really enjoyed watching your build up Duce! I like the rear tails with the black border and the classic LTD in the lights. Are you going to do any black accents with the new front? I really liked the blacked out front before.

I might black out some of the center of the grill. If i can find another early grill i might paint it black but i dont want to mess up my 79 grill and not be able to find another.
i painted the hood and the scoop flat black, i also put the black front end back on.
I also replaced the original chromed steel bumper with an aluminum bumper off of an 85 wagon.
I replaced the E7 heads with a set of E8JE heads (early marine GT-40 heads)
when i did this i cleaned up the intake casting a little.
next day i ran a 13.37 @99 with a passenger and a glitchy nitrous system.
I added an additional cooling fan and a second tranny cooler,
i also boxed in the radiator to help with cooling (it does not get above 190degrees anymore).
i installed the Kirkey drivers seat, i now have a
passenger side seat also, just have not replaced it yet.
I have removed the back seat and rear deck, both have been replaced with .032" aluminum.
I have also recovered the headliner, it now has a raised "LTD" logo in it.
Front suspension now has the original springs back in it,
along with a set of Competition Engineering 90/10 shocks,
also the front sway bar has been removed. best 60' time is a 1.92.
here is the best dyno graph from the old heads. this was a nitrous pull,
the nitrous plate had the wrong fuel hole in it so it ran pig rich (well richer than 10.1)
the pull is from 3000 rpm to 5,000rpm, with valve float starting at around 4500.
it put down 213/280 on motor alone and the "125" shot only increased it to 270/308,
it should have been more like 330/420. that is through an automatic with a non-lock up converter
so there is a good 25% driveline loss
