Rainy Day in Georgia. Here's some poor quality, but up-to-date pics of Quincy. I hope no one had their hopes up, this is a beater!!! The 351W is still at the component stage, I'll post pics of that as the build progresses:

The Ford poverty caps normally ride on the deep-dish steelies, I just have them off right now...and that's a Kmart tach I picked up at an estate sale years ago.

Awesome! What size heads did you go with? You're going real stealth mode with painting the aluminum heads. I've found the concept of Rhoads lifters interesting, but I've never been in a car with them. I have to wonder how precise they are

2.02" Intake/1.60" Exhaust (#60259). They're not quite as awesome as those Trick Flows you're running, but I scored an awesome deal from a guy on FB Marketplace who bought them, had them milled, then never used them. They're as new.

Me too/neither! ;-) I'll let you know how they do eventually and report back. I got the ones with the oil grove which is part of my lubrication plan.

Those are some nice heads! I think you'll be very happy with the power you make. Plus your compression is a decent amount higher than mine (which is around 9.3:1). What kind of RPM's are you expecting to take it to?

Is the rear stock/planning on any gearing upgrades?

6500ish, maybe a tad more if it's still pulling ;-) Gears are 8.8" 4.10 "Trac-Lok", already installed in the mysterious 1979 8.5" housing, plug and play (yes, I've got the weaker 28 spline axles).

Compression was kinda by accident. I was shooting for your 9.3ish comp ratio at first (after all, I want to drop on a blower eventually), but the mill on these "found" heads gives me almost exactly 10.5:1. Acceptable, more than likely, for the Al-you-minium heads, but way too much for boost. I guess I'll add the super-thick head gaskets if I ever get around to that. For now, it's getting the super NON-low-buck Cometic .027 inchers because my NOS TRW slugs (too long a story to tell...) are still about .020" in the hole, even after whacking .040" off the block, and I want to keep the "squish" tight enough. I'm going to have to get my intake milled to fit, I'm certain.

Pardon my bass-ackwards planning on this mill!
