Without fail, every Canadian DIYer garage will have something Power Fist, something Mastercraft and/or Maximum, something Pro.Point, and occasionally something Craftsman (which was made in Canada and distinct from the product sold in USA). And probably some stupid Nascar Advantage (because for some reason Canadian Tire just can't sell Moog as Moog) or Certified brand parts.
The only Mastercraft tools I have found outright inadequate are saw blades. Harbor Freight reciprocating saw blades take a real beating, Canadian Tire ones are not even close.
