The Vic is pretty sad, lots of hidden rust, rockers are non existent, quarters are rotted thru on the dropoffs, doors look rotted under the trim.
That said, I'd rock it as a winter DD for sure, and the turbines are in good shape surprisingly.
@Tiggie that's my girlfriend, she loves the Marquis!
I left a note on the car a month or so ago, but it was windy and I didn't have a way to attach it well, mentioned GMN, like I do whenever I see a box. I'll try again next time.
Wolfgang ... good stuff but hella expensive !! Car looks great.

So went for a nice ride today, to Jubilee College State Park, west of Peoria, Ill. Did a 10 mile hike, and then went to Galesburg, Ill, where I used to live, for some dinner.
Here's some pictures of the day, and some cool stuff I saw.
If your'e still curious, I finally got around to uploading some pics of blue LEDs in my parts cluster (speedo/odo and some other parts are missing). I only had 3 LED bulbs so I have 3 pictures where the left is all lit in one, right is all lit in another, and the middle is all light in the third.
I think they look brighter in the pictures compared to how they look in person.

I decided to stay with green, got em ordered. We'll see how it turns out.
That 88 was mint. Parked right across from my old house, was pretty cool.
Bled the brakes today, pads and shoes were very meaty but had a little sponge going on. Decided to pull the wheels off and rotate the tires, figured since my brother was around I'd have him help me bleed the brakes too.
Pedal is nice and firm now (well as good as a box is anyway), made a huge difference.
Sure looks minty. I love the lacy spokes too, nice and regal.
Anyone ever try using a vacuum pump to bleed brakes? I was wondering how that might work.
I think boxes have pretty good brakes when done right. My Townie has stopped reliably for years and I have watched many a new car swerve to avoid hitting me.
