My friends steal of the centruy

So my friend is a plumber and saw this brat in the garage of the customer. They made them an offer of $2,000 and the people accepted. Man they got a deal.

1991 Ford Crown Vic 23.6K Original Miles!! Never seen snow

See the pics below. They bought it and flipped it the next day. Sold for 4K. I think they could have gotten more but hell, $2,000 for doing nothing is pretty good. The pics of underneath don't do it justice. There was no rust. I was jealous.

This is exactly the same kind of blasphemy I was talking about in another post with Alex.

Not bad. Looks like it's been undercoated though.

My car is undercoated as well, was that not a factory thing??

I'd love to drive one that's basically brand new to see what they were like.

No, that was not a factory thing. NONE of mine are undercoated.

This stuff is out there. Nice find. Hope it went to a good home that actually knows what it is.

Always be looking in garages/back yards as you drive through neighborhoods. People think I'm a creeper but really I just want to know what's lurking waiting to be discovered.

That looks like it needs a good rub down and wax and it could be back on the showroom floor. I love that deep red interior.

It's been a while since I've seen that low-mileage of a Panther come up anywhere...$4000 seems like a steal.

Across from my Dad's marina (80s), a neighbor had a worn down sky blue McLaren M6GT. It was long gone by the time the time I started driving. I had a sad feeling inside.

However, in West Sayville on Long Island is PJ Grady's and they sell refurbished DeLorean's. In '96 I was close to purchasing an '82 or '83 (the short-throw Lotus stick was odd, and so was the 6 inches of rear view window and tremendous blind spot) and then a buddy on a DeLoren board from Finland (whom I missed at the dealer within days coincidentally) said to save a little more money. I did, then the college bills came...

idk about that - 9k for a low mileage like-new looking rust-free car, or 1k for a typical salt belt beater + 1k worth of parts +1k work of engine work + 1.5k transmission rebuild + several grand in body work + several more for a proper paint job... I'll take the 9k time capsule, than you very much!
