    Top ten list

Gentlemen, tis the season that panthers come out of storage! Especially with northernfest and scottsfest coming up, would there be any way/interest to make a top ten list with time slips included for the fastest panthers? Just something to mull over anyway.

While I might do it someday, there aren't a lot of tracks and I don't really want to be an embarrassing failure like all the ricer nerds here so i'll wait until my car might actually put down a noteworthy number, lol. Most people here live in free states though, so there's likely a lot more accessible strips.

C'mon Khead, don't let the majority hold ya down! Last time I raced my Firebird at a track it laid down a 16.9 haha... Barely beat my brother's 3.8 Grand Prix GT. Last time it officially raced another car it lost, to a 5.0 powered Bronco with big ole BFG's on it... Sad but I'd do it again! Now it's got heads, and intake, a chip, full MSD ignition, 3.23 posi with discs (was a 2.73 drummy car) but sadly I moved away from the track and haven't had a chance to run it and pretty much turned it into a garage queen. Have had that car in my possession for 12 years and have only put ~15k miles on it whereas my dad had it 9 years before me and put over 60k on it.

If I have time to get out to a track, I'd like to.

I'd probably end up grenading a transmission, if I was on a sticky track with my 285s. That's one of the reasons I avoided it when Nate invited me..

          This is a good idea.

I bet (no Timeslip yet) I can run 20.something in my 88. That puts me in third behind Derek's firebird and that Bronco with BFG's. Why not 18's or 17's? No full throttle shifts allowed on a 240k AOD.

Seriously - we have some people with real time slips. Post em up!

And I was running on one bad plug and John was having issues too. So we're both faster now.

Is there a mod that can make some sort of list for this? I don't know how to change the original post to put a list at the top

I need to get to a track again and find out if I can break 90mph or even better. I know this car really likes to pour on the speed in the latter half of the track.

the 93. It was not running all that great that day. though it is also carrying my subs and full LX comfort and spare. I probably could have broke 90 that day just by taking the junk out of the trunk.

                        How bout a "bottom 10" list....then maybe I can participate.....lol
I'm not completely oblivious to reality, I just choose to reject it when it doesn't line up with my opinions. (thanx Thain!)

The Tank would be on that list for sure.
