Per request about my truck here it is.
To my knowledge Ford NEVER made a 4 door f-150 till 1997, ONLY f-250's and f-350's. And per helping a friend of mine look at new trucks in 1996, he was forced to buy a f250 for work.
Centurion would extend the frame, and put together a factory looking 4 door F150. You would never know it was converted until you looked underneath it. They also made 4 door broncos. Now the story behind finding out about centurion 4 doors. Well about 12 years ago I am driving around and see one for the first time, and once I saw the five lug wheels I had to have one. My last truck was a 93 extended cab, 6.5 foot bed with the 5.0 and was on its last leg, so the hunt started. I looked off and on for a while and one late night on ebay led me to the chosen one, and I won the auction. Of course I am super excited, but the truck is in Texas over 1000 miles away on a sunday night at 11:30. And being self employed 6 days a week at the time. So I call up a good friend of mine and tell him to pack his bags, because he is flying to Texas in the morning at 8:00. And a couple days later its here. that was 10 years ago.
The truck from the factory was a single cab truck, with the 5.8, cloth seats, and the 3.55 tow package. Then sent to Centurion for the conversion.
Why own a truck when owning so many panthers? Well towing boats, motorcycles, cars and fitting in living in the south.
