Removed the fuel filter someone installed just before the fuel pump it was a bit difficult to blow through. Replaced with a hose. Replaced the accelerator pump diaphragm still wont take to hitting the throttle without stalling. Carb comes off next figure its full of crap from sitting for 3 or 4 years. Starts right up if one eases on the throttle runs good. Replaced the spark plugs they looked good except they were totally white including the ground strap. Another indication carb needs cleaned.

Removed carb and got a rebuild kit. New accelerator pump was already toast. It was a help part guessing their still using old school rubber that cant handle today's fuel. It didnt work anyway it went bad so quick. EGR valve has a leak in the diaphragm new one is 63.00 so made a block off plate for now will have to disconnect the vacuum advance and change the timing a bit. Weather permitting will install the carb as soon as possible. Some parts of the choke linkage made of plastic cracked so no choke for now either.

Took it into the muffler shop today to see whats up with installing dual exhaust. The underneath of this car is unbelievably clean and rust free. Even my muffler guy was surprised.
