I probably won't use Rustoleum per say, something similar that's cheap and readily available. Definitely single stage. It's gonna stay brown, same shade as it is now or close to it. Since I have a spray gun I will be able to spray it and since the paint is cheap I'll be able to do the car in sections without having to worry about wasting paint.

There is TSC in Canada, though I am not sure if they carry same products as US stores. I will check if they carry the paint you mentioned.

I agree with Thain, that TSC stuff is supposedly good shit.

Get some early Aero engine mounts and toss your 4.6 in it when you do your engine swap.

Did your steering wheel feel like it was disconnected? Mine feels like the bolt is loose (bolt is tight though) maybe this bearing kit would fix it?

Fuzzy thought comes to mind, but I think Sly converted his '93's slider setup to the later turny knob rig that doesn't break. If not him, someone did it. Wonder if that wouldn't be possible on a '91 if the stock system just pisses you off too much.

I want more information on this, I'd ideally like to convert my car to the later push button climate controls. I really hate this slider bullshit, since mine is kind of dicked and not perfect. So I don't like it.

It felt like the bolt that holds it in place was loose. I could wiggle it side to size.

Yes. I was thinking of pulling all of the whale stuff and putting it under the box dash if it was possible. But I don't really feel like pulling all of that out.

I think all you really need is the control unit, blower controller (mount in place of the blower resistors you have), the wiring diagrams, some way to change the blend door actuator to the electric one (if the whale ducting is compatible that would make it easy, but I doubt that's the case) and the cabin temp sensor. The rest is just a lot of wiring after the blend door issue.

If you had a 90/91 it would be just wiring and making the controls fit in the dash.

Box ducting is totally different from Aero/Whale. You can probably do what sly said though. Swap all the wiring, resistors, etc. and figure out how to attach the blend door actuator.

Yep, 90/91 is not too bad to do an EATC swap.

On an 89 or older box I'm not sure how much more work would be involved or if the swap would be worth the extra work.

I always thought the older box control levers were basically indestructible.
