Yes depending on their depth and size. You can always cut the hole larger to make stuff fit too. I have them behind the door panels behind a premium sound speaker grill.

mine wouldn't because they have a raised tweeter. If the speaker is completely flush below the level of it's own surround AND remains that way even during use... it should fit. You'd have to somehow cut holes in the cardboard to allow the sound through or those will be so muffled by the panel that it'll be worse than the dash speakers.

Alright, putting a hole in the doorpanel it is haha.
Got a couple dollar dollar bills in the bank to do the exhaust so come around spring Ill have a new exhaust. Thinking about doing at least E7's with an h/c/i, looking for GT40 or GT40P's.
I'm going to run the transmission through its paces tomorrow and see if it does the downshift thing to me again. Both times it did it to me was with a wicked miss. So maybe if it isn't missing, it won't do it.
Also thinking about cutting a round off of my front coils.

LMFAO @ those records!! Loverboy is just so.. '80s, just look at those gay red leather pants haha. Certainly not my favorite ELO album either, can't stand "Don't bring me down...Brud-dce!" Hate hate hate that stupid synthetic drum beat and dumb lyrics. They played it so much around here growing up that I hope I'll never have to hear it again yet as you can tell its lyrics still occasionally haunt me. ::Shudder::
Please don't cut holes in your door panel, run 5.25's or these: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/index...FcEWHwodfVUEmQ
which are 6.5's and will fit in the door openings (at least the did in my TC) and will not advertise to thieves or look tacky. Plus, you can't beat that price and they come with the bad ass 6x9's too.1985 LTD Crown Victoria - SOLD

Nope its 22 rms....my brain is fried. I mustve thought it was matched to my backs, it was matched to my fronts.
Alright if I don't need an amp right away thats awesome. I do have a 100 watt RMS amp (100% sure, just checked) that I may put on the back speakers if I go the JBL route.

Fried ice cream is tasty..
Nah, you can drop the JBL's in and then upgrade later. I highly recommend you try those speakers, interested to see what others think. Is that amp 100 rms per channel or is that altogether?1985 LTD Crown Victoria - SOLD

always best to match RMS (nominal) values between amps and speakers as best you can. Makes for much happier, longer lasting kit. Though if you're going to upgrade piecemeal, speakers first then amps (unless the newer speakers are require way more power). You can do amp first, but have to remember to not crank it so high as to blow out the speakers you already have.
