Wow, that thing was Krusty with a capital K. I've never seen them rust at the top of the A-pillar.. Nice job with all of the fabrication and what not, she looks great! Must certainly be a head turner over there. So what's the story on the car? How did it get to Iceland and when did you get it?

Thank you very much guys, It came to iceland with the Us,navy i think, and in 95 it got into a minor crash on the passanger side.. and was bought and sold by some insurance company, My Uncle (Who was like a father to me) bought it, Fixed it and drove it till 98, then something in the engine broke and it was always going to be fixed but somehow never happened, But how ever.. Life is like it is and he passed away 2007 and i inherited the car (I was only 13) , It was bad when i got it and got worse with each year. Last winter 1st Des 2014 i rented a Garage and started the job.
Everything is really ready, just some minor things that i need to do to it and that will be done this winter.
The only reason i restored the car was in his memory.
Ps. It's not for sale and will never be for sale. The house goes before the car goes

And here is the outcome after the Crome delete on the side and fresh paint job. Just gonna lower it abit in front and rear so it gets the look im looking for. i'll ofc throw in pics when im done. im really happy with the outcome.

Thanks mate, Well there are total two 78-87 crown vic's in iceland, i own them both, the donor vic was in much worse shape than this one when i started restoring it even tho this one was pretty bad at the start, but i managed using few parts off of it like front fender passanger door front and both rear and trunk. And .. insteed of leting the donor sit out there in the farm and die complitly from rust i made a ratmode pickup out of it using the bad parts i had sitting around of the restored one. took few beers and one weekend! and then i found great use for it carrying my motorcross bike between tracks and stuff

Damn. The craftsmanship you put into that car is utterly impressive. I love the stance it has now, and am interested in how it'll look lowered. Also, that truck-bed vic is literally one of the coolest things I've ever seen done. Props to you man on both rides.Comment
