In other news, my money's on the beige '85 coupe. Of all the boxes in your fleet, that's the one that's most in need of handling improvement. New frame + new suspension is right up its alley. Plus, you can follow what Serge did (interior dimensions, relocating of things like the exhaust, steering shaft, and so on), and skirt the issues with the wagon gas tank.'89 Grand Marquis "Ebyt", '85 Grand Marquis "Eva", '94 Caprice "Kira"

I'll be using everything from the 04', from the frame, engine, trans, all the wiring, everything. However, the interior and exterior will be 100% box. I can't afford any neat engines, I'll use what I have.
The one thing I refuse to use is a whale dash. It's no longer a box if it has a modern dash. Since I do need to use the 90+ style steering column, I'll have to use a 90-94 GM dash or 90/91 Vic dash. I'd even settle for a 92-94 Vic dash or maybe an aero towncar dash.
As for the car, It won't be the Tudor, that car is pretty much already sold.
I've thought about the 91 wagon as it would make the dash part of the swap easier, but then it would no longer be the battle wagon, plus it's a beater.
I was planning on originally doing this swap on the 87 CP, but I'm really not sure. I'm thinking of dropping the HPP box's everything in it instead, and turning the HPP box into the Sport Box.
As for the front tires, the original rims had been sold off the car, and it was rocking 98-02 steelies, but I was afraid they'd be too wide for my buddies tow dolly so I just went and grabbed some 03+ steelies at the JY. These shot 17's were the only ones I could find. Oh well, good cheater slicks.

I wonder if those window motors fit the older aeros. If you wanna part out some of that, if it'll fit aero regulators (93 specifically), I'll buy the driver rear off ya.

It'd be cool to do the 87 CP but the hot rod in me says do it to the lightest car you have. Are 2 doors the same weight, assuming same options? They have the same frame and length so I'd think so but maybe not. But yeah, lightest car plus 5 or 6spd swap.88 Town Car (wrecked, for sale)

I believe the rear floor area is longer. The rear doors are different on a wagon. Might be the same as the Townie wheelbase.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
