What's going to happen to all of the fancy shit, the HPP had? Engine, trans, BB, blower?

It'll be pretty fuck-tabulously awesome to see a sedan on a whale chassis too. Who's gonna do the box CV next?

Maybe one day, Lincolns will be cool enough to swap chassis.

Small update, this winter has been so cold and snowy I haven't worked on it at all. I had to move the 04' frame, to make some room for the Saleen. Pulled it out of it's snowy tomb then shoved it up on the ramp truck so A. its not in the way, and B. I can move it around.

That is a nice bump. Would you like to maybe move it to a warmer climate so my bump and it can be best buddies?

Roll it into a barn, put a couple of heaters on and do that frame swap.

It's warm out, more work can now be done.

Engine and trans pretty much ready to come out:

Ya, this week has been really nice so far, at least compared to the rest of this winter.

In all honesty, I doubt I'll have this car done this year. I'm more concerned with having one less undrivable car in the barn. And since I need to strip the 89 down to a bare shell, now is the perfect time to build the 87 back up. Not to mention all the other projects of varying degree I have going on.

The 87' just needs the drivetrain reinstalled doesn't it? What's gonna happen to your 4v?

Engine, trans, reinforce the firewall for the 5sp swap plus cut the trans tunnel, big brake swap, need to find a 90-97 rear axle, it will be getting a rear disc swap, 4.10's, trac lok, need to have some 31 spline axles made for it, girdle, and I might have the axle tubes welded, and also need to buy some of Jeff's lower control arm reinforcement plates and weld those in. Entire brake system needs to be completely redone, interior is in pieces, convert it to fox accessory drive, new body mounts, have the windows retinted, plus a bunch of other mods I want to do. Re do the exhaust, touch up the paint in spots, new fuel pump, and a shit ton of other stuff I'm forgetting.

4v will consider to sit in the corner until I want to use it for something.

Honestly I'm more concerned with my ramp truck then any of my boxes. That takes priority, but I can only do so much when I have a barn full of dead cars.

Pulled the engine and trans today.
Should have been a nice quick job expect my hoist decided to shit itself. Not sure what happened, it worked fine last time I used it and hasn't leaked any fluid out, but it wouldn't pump up at all. Added some fluid, not that it was really low at all, and tried multiple times to bleed it, but it was not havin it. Ended up taking the ram all apart and cleaning it all up, replaced all the fluid, bled it again and it finally came back to life. Nothing can ever go smoothly....

Exhaust removed in one nice lump sum:

Are those the Impala tails that Rockauto has?
1990 MGM: $50 E7 heads, HO cam, Holley SysteMAX lower intake, HO upper intake with an Explorer TB. LSC ECM. Lincoln logs into stock dual exhaust. K&N drop in air filter. Wide ratio AOD, 2400 converter with a 3.08 one tire fire out back. Car is less slow now. Then there's the '92 Beater. Dual 2.25" exhaust with shiny tips. Rumbles nice. Super slow. Burns oil too.
