My new 95 Grand Marquis LS

Here is my 95 Grand Marquis LS.

I drove my 07 Jetta 2.0t across the country but didn't feel like constantly fixing it with expensive VW parts nor did I really like it that much so I sold it. I was planning on buying a newer truck or something when I seen this car on kijiji without a price. I went to look and it was very solid and needed nothing (or so I thought). I brought it home for a low, low price I won't bother telling you about.

It needed a starter but besides that it has been running great. It's a 95 LS, 2.73 open rear.

So far I just tinted the windows but after I return to NB ($800 is way too much for duals!!!) it will receive dual exhaust, a 3.73 or 3.55 (haven't decided) trac loc posi unit and some honeycomb or turbine wheels. If I go the turbine route, they will be wrapped in bfg radial t/a's.

Anyways here she is. It's crazy what a solid car it is underneath. I'll get it on a hoist at some point and take a few pictures underneath but it's crazy how they last when there's no road salt to eat away at them.

Nice clean car. One of the things I hate in the East is the salt brine mix that destroys vehicles fast !

I love the 3.55s in my DDs. Wish I had gone 3.73 in the 93 though... or I need boost.

Of course I love it! Post some interior photos if you can. Looks like it's got cloth, which I love. My 1997 MGM LS (HPP) was white with green cloth. The biggest difference between my car and your car though, is that yours still has all intact fenders. Amazing they're not rusted out. Keep checking them cause once they start, they go fast.

It'll have duals when I'm home. Most likely glasspacks..

The centers are in my trunk, I'm not a fan of them to be honest. I had them off because I had to get my wheels torqued again after putting my winters on. The 2.73 open has to go, when I'm back in NB it will receive 3.55 or 3.73's, most likely 3.73's. I've tried most ratios up to 4.11 and 3.55 is near perfect however I would like to try 3.73's more in depth.

Oh yeah, lets just say I paid sub-$1000 for it (barely, but I did).

Looks awesome. Mileage? (although in these it's relative cause with good maintenance and depending on driving conditions they'll go way way high)

Nice! I always like to see more of these 95-97s. They give me inspiration for my own car.

+1 about the fenders. My car came with those wheel arch chrome trim thingies, and I was not pleased when I pulled them off and saw the extent of what lay underneath. Congrats on finding one that's in better shape!
