Those rims look familiar- in a good way. Reminds me of the set the Murphmobile's '78 Caprice was wearing. They suit your '79 really well. And I dig the body colors making their way to the interior (steering wheel, lower dashboard area). Interior itself looks MINT AS HELL. No cracks anywhere on that dash pad. Despite being 10 years older than mine, yours is in noticeably better shape. I'm more than a little bit jealous at this point. Haha.

That thing is great! Hey, are the rocker panel trim pieces one piece from the fender to the quarter panel?

Yup. It's one piece right from the front fender to the back.

I sure hope so. I always hoped my 97 (same color, torq thrust wheels) would win. Maybe this is the lucky one.

Yeah, the interior is awesome shape. Everything works too all the power options and what not. The seats are custom and the carpet has been changed as well. I had it peeled back and the floor underneath is like new. Love this thing.

Thanks for your comments guys. I love this car, just wanted to share it with you guys. Vote me for POTM!

We love boxes around here and the color of your car is a little more rare these days. It may not have been rare at all when the car was still fairly new, but I have not seen another box in this color. I have seen plenty other Ford cars, trucks, and vans from that era in that color though.

Remember you gotta post pics in the poll thread (that thread is usually created around the 15th of the month) otherwise you can't win even with the most votes. Also posting pics usually gives you a better chance of being nominated again if you don't win.

Do you have any vids of the exhaust? Ever since I heard Thrush Welded's in person I was impressed, they sound better than Flowmaster 40's for less than half the price. Does it have cats? If not I bet it sounds mean as hell.

Thrush welded are gone, glasspacks are in. It has an h-pipe, 2.25 inch piping and no cats. I can upload a video if you still want to hear. It's quieter then I expected but also sounds awesome.

                    Well guys..

I moved to Alberta for work. The money I got out of the 79 funded the move and I bought a 95 GMQ out here. I'll snap some pics and make a thread for that one as well..

Glad you guys liked the car, I love it and will always miss it. It was a short but sweet time with it for sure. Vote it for panther of the month for one last good time for my memory book if you like it. Thanks.
