Needs lowering springs for stock ride height. LOL So much for your car stopping better than mine. They probably need to be bled again. Double triple quadruple check that you have no leaks, even the smallest amount of air will cause a non working pedal.

Also, on another side note. The box pump does not like the rack and pinion. It barely has any assist when still. So I think a smaller pulley will be in order for the future. I'll triple check the fluid again. It wasn't full manual steering, it was just barely any assist.__________________________________________________

Might try a PS pump meant for a Mark VII. Those had a rack and peanut and they're physically identical. I can dig up the pressure and flow specs for a panther vs the mark vii later. Its in the shop manuals. If someone could dig up the same specs for an 03+ car, that would be helpful.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

I'll check when I get home and see if my EVTM/shop DVD has that info.

Seems that way. Pressure is about right, flow is low though. Not sure if other applications move more juice or not. That might just be the practical limits of that pump design. Not impossible that other pumps bolt up though. The ghost of hydroboost past might know.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

I'm glad everyone chimed in about the pump situation. I think Johns right about the Aerostar one, so I'll probably look into this when I recoop some funds..
Well I drove it again today, just for laughs. It's got some good giddy up and go, I really really hate the hydraulic clutch setup. I can't get this stupid slave cylinder to push forward far enough. It's basically just pushing it forward enough to barely disengage the clutch and at the same, riding the clutch. So. Fuck. Hydraulic. Clutches. Until I figure out how to fix the problem. Brakes still don't work. My buddy is coming over to help with that. It's got mufflers on it and a horrendous header leak, which will need to be attended to. Uh... I bolted in the passenger seat.__________________________________________________

Perhaps the pushrod of the slave isn't positioned correctly with the pedal? Something isn't right there, I've had decent pedal feel with hydraulic setups-Phil
