I personally await the inevitable OM617 swap. The ultimate in putt-putt.

Car has been sitting in storage for the last year.
Sold the engine (15’ 5.0 with a 2.3TVS) for more than I had into it. Ended up buying a 97 Viper GTS in Blue/White.
Viper just got sold a month ago due to the big hype and run up on prices in the market.
The crown vic will be the only vehicle I plan to never sell. Im also currently taking on another project of a 96 F250 CCSB on a 2015 F250 frame with the 6.7L diesel and an 09 king ranch interior. That is also on pause since I’m starting construction and Inevitable draining of my wallet on a 35x50 1750Sqft shop with a 20x35 lean-two.
Hopefully the future brings part time AWD alongside a 800-1000hp coyote(most likely) and another entire strip, repaint and rebuild of the car. But I’m currently undecided on what I want to do to it since I’ve really been too satisfied with it. Maybe it’ll just stay RWD with an IRS a low power 650ish HP combo. I have 4 piston calipers for it, eventually. I like my LTD even though all of my buddies hate it. I do know that I will be redoing the entire body, again. The right way, this time.
On a side note, I’ve been trying to find a black with black vinyl top box towncar with (preferably red) leather interior. Or a black 88-91 box vic. Since I want to do a quick and easy build. Frame swap, 3.5 eco boost and 6R80 auto. Then have that as a fun daily drivable car.
That is all.
attached is a picture of the box next to my last winters project, 1996 F250 extended cab short bed on a 2006 f250 6.0 powerstroke frame/drivetrain.

Nice. Wish I could build a shop. Gotta get a place with available land and no HOA first. Would also be nice if said place was within an hour drive of my employer too. Real estate market around here is stupid right now.
