    Excellent. That timing chain is teh suck. It was a bad idea when they implemented it in the 70s, and continued to suck right through until they quit with it.

      Ford was actually using this shitty design far before the 70's. My '67 Continental had it. In fact, I think they started using it in 1958 in the Mercury-Edsel-Lincoln engines. Not a great idea to use nylon inside an engine, but then again, they probably didn't expect the cars would last past 10-15 years of normal usage before they were crushed.
