I just acquired a very special Panther
This car belonged to "navguy12" (Mike) from thelincolnforum.net. Between spring 2012 and this fall, he painstakingly turned the car from a well-used summer driver into a show car that scored 99/100 at the Dover LCOC meet this past summer. He factory-ordered the car new, and took delivery in July '85. It was never winter-driven, nor was ever his daily driver.
1985 Town Car
Cartier Designer Series
Arctic White/Platinum Clearcoat Metallic
Two-tone grey leather/cloth interior
Autolamp
Digital Dash
Sunroof
Auto dimming rear view mirror
Premium Sound
All the usual Town Car features (power windows/locks/seat, cruise, auto climate control)
Last winter, the car was repainted to show quality, including a NOS Cartier grey/red pinstripe, with 200 hours of wetsanding and buffing. The front seats were fully re-upholstered with factory-correct leather and cloth. The engine/trans is original, with 110k on the clock, however it runs like new and was meticulously maintained. There are numerous NOS trim items on the car. Words cannot do the condition of the car justice. My wallet is reeling from the purchase, but it really is an honour to take the keys to something that has involved so much passion and dedication to this hobby. Many have asked Mike why he decided to sell the car after pouring so much time and effort into it, but he is moving on to a new chapter in life.

My '87 CV has quite the new stablemate!
