Thanks everyone! It does have an unusual mix of options, but it's just about how I would've ordered it new. It has analog gauges, manual A/C, leather, manual passenger seat, remote keyless entry, ABS, rear map lights, power antenna, and AM/FM cassette with no premium sound.

Essentially a "bare bones" LS. My parents neighbor has a 97 equipped exactly the same way. In later years they called "LS convenience " or something like that.

          Nice ride.

Got the Air Lift springs on today. I routed the air lines through the frame, and the schrader valve is under the back bumper

that looks stupid easy to install. I wanna do this to the vic, but I also want to have independent spring control so I don't have to worry about side to side load issues.

The blue firestone kits have individual valve control. Thats what I had in the old lincoln. Pretty decent price for the kit too.

nice. I'll have to look into that when I get some play money. will be a while. next purchase will be a new dishwasher as the old one is having issues draining at times... it's like it just forgets to do that step at the end of the rinse cycle.

They are easy to install. It helps if you have the air springs warmed up so they can be folded easier. It was around 60 degrees when I put mine on and they went in pretty easy.

The Air Lift kit comes with independent control too if you want them separate. You can have two fill valves or T them into one. I tee-d mine together because I just plan on using mine for towing our utility trailer. If you drag race the independent valves are great because the air bags help control axle wind up and wheel hop.

I did some work on the front end last month. Both of the upper ball joints were shot so I put new upper and lower ball joints and inner and outer tie rods on both sides. I already did the sway bar end links last February. I left the pitman arm and idler arm alone because they were still good.

The passenger side pinstripe was almost completely faded away so I just removed them. It looks cleaner without them I think.

I found a '96 Town Car with JBL stereo at the Pick n Pull so I got the speakers out of it. They were $20 for the set, and they were a big improvement over the factory base speakers in sound and power handling.

The passenger side window had Dorman window plugs in it that I installed in Sept of 2012. They lasted 2 years before they failed. They don't fail the same way Ford window plugs do. Instead of disintegrating into mush, the Dorman window plugs deform until they let the window gear start slipping. I replaced them with 6 1/4-20 nylon nuts. Problem solved.

Last weekend I went to put the driver's rear window up, and it got half way up and made a pop then quit going up. Took the door panel off and upon inspection it was the regulator that failed. The new one I put in a little over a year ago! Dorman strikes again! It wasn't the cable this time. The plastic that holds the regulator together where it slides up and down broke, and it just fell apart. And there were cracks all over the plastic where it wasn't broke like Dorman used brittle plastic on it. I warranteed it and the new one has some small cracks in the plastic too so that isn't a good sign.

Today, I washed and waxed it and got some new pics of it.

Cleaned the trunk out and detailed the motor
