Too much tanning for my GM! (New Paint!)

I got my Cream Grand Marquis painted black. Really wanted a Black car again, so I said fuck it and got it done.

Got it done and Maaco, paid for good work, not the cheap job. Full wetsand and they took care of the surface rust that was hiding under the panels.

Hell, I like the Cream colored top with the black.

I think I'll give MAACO a second look after that, that looks to be good work.

I like the cream top as well, but black will look killer too. Looking very nice.

Do your research. Every store is different. If you do, do as much prep as possible, I.E. taking off all the trim.

Looks nice. I too like how the current vinyl top offsets the rest of the black.

If you do a black vinyl top, you need to dye the interior black too. A triple black car would be sexy.

Looks great. Perhaps I should think about Maaco again.

Looks good! Just remember with the soft paint that maaco uses if you ever needed painted again every bit of their paint will need striped off because you cant lay any paint over it. And needing it repainted in the not so distant future is likely due to ever time you wash it it will get more swirl marks and wear it away. You will probably notice black on you wash mitt/rag.
