Truck is running decently... cold air... For Sale. I don't want to burden anyone here with it, but if someone wants to hook me up with $2500-3000 I'll hook them up with a truck.

Throw a Thunderbolt cat on it, you can get them for $40 on ebay, I bought mine on performance-curve. If you do, get a muffler on it, those cats are loud, like not having one at all.

truck has a new cat on it and a flowmaster (make it loud) muffler. I've narrowed it down to valves (very doubtful) or a weak injector (internal coil short when hot). I believe it's not the valves since it will haul ass very when when you first start it up. But once it gets warm... it starts missing. When it's had a good soak at operating temp it starts missing most of the time.

Thinking I'll just trade it for a Subi Outback LL Bean H6 that's for sale locally.

part of the exhaust is actually resting on the frame... but I'll see if the strap is there. There's already like 2 or 3 of those ground straps going from the engine to the frame/body... but I'll check it out.

The subi is out. fuel costs need to go way up or something needs to die before I buy another vehicle.

Great to hear you are ok. However, I HAVE ordered an immediate execution for the other driver. That should prevent him/her from breeding and producing more dumb ass drivers!! Bobby

Sucks, but not unfixable without gross efforts. More importantly, you're OK.

the now buggerd out passenger door tells the real tale It was just enough to cause the A post to bend just a dink.

By my estimates, it's at least $3000 worth of parts and labor. So I bet there's more. These trucks are only worth about 4 grand in good shape. I'll take the money and run if/when it gets totaled. If they fix it... then I'll just try to sell it again with the buggered trans (and hoping the trans lasts long enough to find out what'll happen).

Got paperwork from Enterprise today... called them and got my video submitted to them. I'll probably hear from them tomorrow or next week about getting my truck fixed.
