      I love that vid!
This ought to be a legal requirement whenever anyone has to go on a roadtrip/adventure to pick up a secondhand car! The trip "MUST BE FILMED" or you don't buy the car!!
      Seriously enjoyable.
I complain when I have to drive for 90 mins let alone what you guys did!

I always take photos when I get there to pick any car up, and then when I get back home, and my Wife thinks I'm nuts! And if I'm nuts, what does that make you?!!!!!! Non car guys/gals just don't understand

      Awesome.
      Thanks for the entertainment.

      Andy.

Wow, I'm glad you guys liked the vid! I was planning on taking more and taking more pictures, but I guess I forgot. So I just through together the random clips I did take.

It was about 13 hours of driving on the way down, and probably about 15 on the way back. Actually my shortest car-buying-down-south trip yet. It may sound crazy to some, but I think it's more fun then anything.

Well the Battle Wagon has just been sitting in the barn waiting for fall so I can work on it, but today I decided to anyways. Swapped in a 140mph speedo, which I replaced the odometer gears on. Why, because I could. And the old speedo was ugly and the plastic had stress cracks all through it. Also set the mileage to a good guesstimate. 300k here I come!

It won't even be on the road too November probably.

Got some more work done to it.

While remove the cluster trim, nearly all the mounting tabs broke off (southern baked goodness FTW), so I decided to swap in the trim from the other 91. This trim has fake wood on it, which I honestly like better than the plain plastic one. Also, the clock in it was covered in this nasty stuff around the edges, that wouldn't come off, so I swapped in the whole clock +trim panel from the marq as it too was in better shape.

The trim that runs along the center also had a weird dirty layer of goo on it. I don't know if it was some sort of clear coat that was falling apart, or what, but it would not come off. The only thing that got it off was some brake cleaner and a good scrubbing. This was working well until I went to far in one spot and took the wood paint off too . In the end, I decided to paint where the wood was black, and keep the aluminum in the middle. Over all I think it came out good. The fake wood around the cluster matches good with the door inserts, and the center trim is just plain and out of the way, and matches the black Lincoln steering wheel.
