what brand of paint did you use? i hope they make a ford blue
VHT I had left over from painting the new tranny on the 87.
Exhaust time!
Originally I was just going to slap on my extra pair of 90 TC manifolds, and just delete the mufflers, but then I remembered I have 3 pairs of factory stang headers and a factory catted stang H-pipe lying around. And as much as I hate how this thing fits, it should help waken up the lopo a little more. As for the rest of the exhaust, I'm just going to cut off the factory bell flange's on the H-pipe, weld on some tube, then some 45's and side exit's right before the rear tires.
Pic time!

Bah, looks like my exhaust plans are foiled, there is no way to fit a stock catted mustang H-pipe on a 90-91, the one cat jams into the shift selector cable and bracket. And attempting to massage the heat shield on the cat resulted in the cat falling apart.
So instead, a 2.5" no cats mustang H-pipe from summit, and 2, 26" asspacks will have to do.

k code 3:55 posi rear/big brake swap tow package car
Did the 3g swap today. I picked up this 3g at the junk yard back before I even bought this thing, finally decided to put it to use.
Took it all apart, cleaned and painted it, and reclocked it to sit like the stock 2g.
Installed:
Can just see the 175amp fuse attached to the solenoid:
Charging cable is just the stock one from the Taurus I harvested the alternator off of.
Charges at 14.2v @ idle, and 13.8 @ idle with everything on max. Not bad for a total of $20.
Not bad at all actually, just need to cut the turn downs down a little. H-pipe is even with the tranny pan, and the rest is much higher than the rear axle.
