sweet! its an awsome feeling when you can have a connection with a vehicle, and not just think of it as an appliance. even if that is what it is in the end.

Well , to be honest you would know better than me , But I didnt change it , it was like that when Dad bought it . 84 and older grilles had straight slats. I think they all also had Lincoln badges on the upper corner of the grille shell which yours does not appear to have. That hood ornament is definitely an 87- part tho, 88 got a skinny star. Probably the hood ornament that threw me but if you replaced it, that would 'splain it.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
