As far as I know 1980 would be Lincoln Continental Town coupe. 1981 would be Lincoln Town Car Signature Series Two Door.

I am not going to even measure my vent visors as I can totally see that they would be too small for you window frame. Damn that is a long door.

Paint looks like it can still shine up..just gotta do a lot of steps to it and it will be a real eye catcher. I had people complementing me on my Escort the other day as I was taking car of the paint on it. Your black paint will really shine nice.

Paints not bad I guess for 31 yrs. I was told it sat in a barn for 15 yrs. I guess thats why the paint and top look semi decent. The right rear quarter has some really bad cracked clear. I wasnt sure if theres a way to improve it. Maybe wet sand and buff?

By the way escort timing belt replacements are no fun.

I dont know why it dosent. It caught my eye when I first saw it. All the lincolns Ive owned had it except this one.

Wet sand and buff as a last resort. Try everything else before getting that aggressive. No idea if your car even has clear coat. Maybe the Lincolns got special paint jobs but I do know 7 years later my Crown Vic came off of the factory without clear.

Im really not sure. It doesnt look like cracked paint just the clear suface over it. Ill take a pic and post it. Then again Im no body expert.

I like the green color at night on the cluster. I would have perfered black or tan as a interior color tho.

Thanks. Bought it Oct 2010. Took me forever to post pics.
