    My 85' Vic

Finally found some pictures I had on facebook. Not recent, but everything is basically the same. Biggest difference is, I have removed all side trim on it. Waiting to be painted still, and get the engine rebuilt. Several more things will happen to it as I attain the money for it. Such as, a pretty stout motor/tranny combo, taller gears, and a hood scoop.

I like the factory color. The rims go good with the car.

Would love to find a 2-door vic.

Looks nice! I also have had a tendency to remove side trim on some of my cars (well two Panthers out of four).

        What's planned for the engine?

Car looks good. You going all out on the paint job? Or just a quick mask all trim and spray?

              Thanks y'all.
As far as the rims, they are Pacers. 15x7 I think. Tires are 215/60/15 for the front and 225/65/15 for the rear. I found some of the 18" five spoke mustang rims that I want for it, I think that will help a bit. I saw another vic on here with them; it was brown.
For the motor, right now it is still CFI unfortunately, and is being rebuilt right now. After the rebuild, I am doing the swap to carb, and I found some gt40 heads that will go nicely with it. Either the Edelbrock air-gap intake or Weiand's stealth intake. Found the Lunati VooDoo cam that should be perfect for everything. Hoping for at least 225hp at the wheels.

Yea, the brown blob I think it was called. It's POTM still. Very unfortunately they are steel chrome. Weigh about 40 more pounds than the stock ones, but they were free and I think lookl better, came off my dad's Ranchero. No, haha, they are not for sale.

Going all out. I have a deep blue with heavy metallic in it for the body. And I have a silver for the roof, but on that silver, I am going to be using some very nice metal flake. The flake is a little bigger than that of a bass boat, so it will definitely get some attention and hopefully look awesome. The fact that I am painting it myself will make it much more personal too. Bought a gun called the FlakeBuster II, it shoots the really big size metal flake very well. That will probably be in the early summer before I am done though.

A smidgen over half of what I put into it. Absolute bottom dollar I would accept on the car as it sits now would be $6,500. So yes $$$ But nothing compared to what I spent.

Thats awesome man. If you need any help in knowing how to remove any of the trim pieces I can help you out. Everything was removed for my car. It will be a great experience painting the car yourself.

I really want to make it quick one day, but money kinda limits that. I think my best bet for right now is to do my current build and run a 100 shot through it, until I get the money for new heads and a supercharger or turbo. I found that On3performance has awesome turbo kits for mustangs and I think I could manage with that and a carb, or just get a centrifugal blower. But with 225ish horsepower and the nitrous with 3.73 gears, it should move along pretty good, much better than now for sure.

Okay, thank you 87gtVIC. I think I have most of it, but I will definitely ask if I get stuck on something. I am still in high school, and for my senior project (I don't know if you are familiar with that) I had to paint an old bicycle and flaked it. So, I decided that I want to be a little more extensive and paint an entire car.
