Color was by chance.
Right now it is sitting in the backyard. She has to get it insured and get all the paperwork (DMV related) prepped for it.

Just wanted to let you know, my friend couldn't get over how nice your Escort was on the ride home. I think it baffled his mind that there was still an early 90s Escort in such nice condition floating around. haha
That said, I agree. It is really nice!

Time to change your signature.
I guess our trips to the junkyard at ScottFest won't include looking for super-rare Escort GT parts and stuff.
Sigh.
Time to find some AMG shit!

Well. The cars life as a whole is done for.
Rust just took its toll on the underside.
Rear trailing arms were rusted out which could cause the back wheels to flop around in the rear. Sub-frame in the rear was swiss cheese as well.
Ended life with around 86K on her at 24 years old.
Pulled some parts off of her to try and re-coupe some cash. Rarely seen Mercury Tracer three piece wing, strut tower braces (front and rear), Mazda dual lidded center console and the front and rear suspension tie bars.

You should be able to sell allot of parts from that Escort. That interior looks to be in great shape. The low mileage 1.9 motor should bring a few bucks. The old escorts are hard to find now even on the West Coast. My 94 was on of the most reliable cars I have owned. 258,000 miles on it when I sold it. Still miss it.

Maybe if I put in the time I could have spread its wealth (good parts) around to people who needed them. The car has been gone since Friday. RIP.~David~
