only the fuel door looks out of place to me... The PONY decal got a laugh out of me. The car looks great (for an Escort). Now we need a 302 swap

The lower rear control arm on the car were looking bad. ONe actually had a hole rusted clear through it. I replaced them this morning. Those effin' bolt were HUGE and a PITA to get out! Lots of heat on the shoulder of the bolt between the two points it goes through the knuckle. But it is done and I am not worried about them breaking on me while going anywhere anymore.
What I removed...p.side was rusted through:
And new:

pretty soon you'll be swapping in a 2L ecoboost and tuning that up!

Nah. The next thing is to cut out the rust in the quarters and weld in the patch panels I have harvested. I will put it up for sale locally and then either pick up a new fiesta ST or beg my boss for the sweet f350 lariat super duty crew cab dually.~David~

You are thinking about selling the Escort? Let me know (PM, if you wish) what you are looking for it. Anything wrong with it?? Bobby

Possibly looking into selling. Mechanically the car is awesome. all things that should work do work....the drivers side seat belt is a little flacky though....sometimes works and sometimes does not. It is not the motor for the seatbelt but the contacts in the latch mechanism.
The quarters are beginning to rust out. I wanna fix that and paint her up again and see how things are. Other than that the outside is very very presentable for car built in 1994 and stood its entire life outside.~David~

and where exactly would you part said F350 if that actually did happen? That wouldn't exactly fit much of anywhere.
