Really, I like the box mirrors better. Gives it that old nostalgic look, and a place to rest your arm. But thats me.

The car the way it is would make a great sleeper...but I suppose gloss will look good too.

Nifty find! I agree that '79-'80 mirrors are much more better, and slotted bumpers are fun too. And I think I spy 14" wheels, which while not desirable in all ways (and tire selection is fading from slim to none), are nifty and funky also. Also interesting to finally see pics of one of the rumored/legendary non-AC cars .....

What's that got for rear gears? My factory-C4 '79 Squire had an 8.5" with a 2.26:1 RAR.

Very Nice Merc! I love it!

That is basically the look I'm going for with my Marquis, totally Slick and Smooth. Like the Crown Vic PI models.

Not to much of an update, just a few new pics..
Got the windsheild trim on, put my nice set of tail lights in and straitend them up a bit. More updates soon, just the holidays have kept me busy doing other things.

Also put some skull lock knobs in.

The skulls go quite well with the flat color. Are you sure you wanna make it glossy??
