    1995 crown victoria hpp

yep, it's definitely a hpp. before you ask for pics - i don't have any at the moment but will take a shitload when the car comes home on wednesday. i might be able to take it home before then, but wednesday is when i'll be able to buy it.

found out today it was a 95 when i went to check it out.

    what i know about it:

    80k kilometers (like 50k miles)
    it's red
    speed holes in windshield
cinderblock and broken glass in passenger seat
rear air bags - system or bags may need service
    dual exhaust
    good frame
good body; one little rust hole
3/4 of a set of 16" hpp rims. anyone know where i can get a single? haha
needs rear sway bar and mounting points repaired

this is going to be a project of sorts; I'm getting it for a ridiculous $100 and it's got papers and everything so I plan on fixing what needs fixing and using it as a daily driver when my 1990s inspection is up in the new year (not til june or july can't remember.) The 1990 is gonna get parked and slowly built/restored. Once the 1990 is parked, the 1995 will hopefully be ready to come out and enter service as my daily driver.

what other toys did HPP cars come with that i should look for?

yes, but then it'd kill you.

So, there are pros and cons.

is that the right setup for these cars? it's sittin real low in the ass but hasnt been run in a few months. don't know how to find out if it leaks or not unless the leak is really bad and they won't inflate at all when i start it.

should i put anything in the gas since it's probably old?

Air-ride cars usually sit low after not being driven for a few days, particularly on the driver's side. Apparently the bags can be checked for leaks by spraying soapy water on them. Probably best to try this when it's not freakin' cold out!

"Very" old gas should be removed from the tank if possible...
