      Next things i need to pick up

      Wiring harness
      FMS headers
      Inline Fuelpump an filters
      Hurst T-5 shifter
      aluminum radiator
      hoses
      and thats all i can think of at the moment although im sure thats not all.

        Looking like a neat project! Best thing about any Mustang (IMO) is that stuff is actually made to fit it. And the '71-'73 are about the best-looking.

        I've read that header brands like JBA and Kooks are well worth the steepish price tag.

          update, wiring harness has been ordered, so im gonna drop the tank and have it modified while i wait for the harness, also im gonna plumb the engine a little bit. getting really close folks, just a few more parts to go....

            update

            Just dropped the tank and cleaned all the garbage gas out of it. had to run out and get fittings for the tank and sender. still waiting on harness and need to get inline fuel pump, headers, and fuel filters.

              Update

              harness finally came in, now need to focus on finishing up fuel system and then headers and a radiator. also need to modify driveshaft.

                well some of you guys were right and there is no easy way to get the p heads to work so im gonna get some regular GT40 heads. lesson learned i guess but i got some pressing things goinm on at the moment so its on the backburner for now.
