I have no problems with a SBC, except if it is installed in a Ford vehicle. You wouldn't put a 302 in a Caprice would you?

if it was the only engine I had on hand and I could fab up an adapter plate pretty quick for mounting stuff... sure I would... but I'm redneck that way. If I'm building up a car... I'd try to stick with same branding for the core parts... like engine/trans.

BUMP! And I mean a big time bump. I can't say I post here too often anymore, since if you all remember my GM was sadly totaled (not my fault) last May. I've got some good news, though. I'm back in the Grand Marquis game! I'll dedicate a new reader's ride to this car as it's new, but for now it seems fitting that the first post about the new Grand Marquis is in the Babe Magnet's thread. Now she just needs a name

Thanks man! I talked him down to 800. It leaks here and there but the interior's mint and it has 74k on the clock. I'm excited

That was one of the first things that really grabbed my attention. It's the only one I've ever seen in person. I was practically drooling over the interior haha, the dash pad is immaculate as well as the rest of the interior.
