Re-watching it, the AFR meter was pegged at 10:1 at the start (before you did the in-car) but I think that it just wasn't active.

Finally completely finished my Mass Air swap on the HPP box. Also successfully got my AEM wideband working with my QuaterHorse.

Looks like you have a very similar air box as I do...with the integrated mass air flow housing and all. Did you have to change anything there like the mass air sensor itself to make this function? Just one of the questions I had in the back of my head when it comes time for me to get this done.

Just watched the video...seems to have answered my question. Looks like I may be okay using it.

Very nice progress, I am impressed.

From the pictures and video you posted, the MAF air box installed appears to be a 2004/2005 Police interceptor air box. These air boxes are identified by the MAF sensor being integrated with the air box lid and it uses the newer "blade" style sensor.

The 2003/2004 Marauder air box look similar and flow slightly more air. The MAF sensor will unbolt from the air box lid and it uses the different style sensor. Marauder air boxes are obsolete from Ford.

Are you using the air temp sensor in the lower manifold or the one built into the late style MAF ?

While it is currently running off the 80mm, the transfer functions are completely wrong. Surprisingly the A/F ratio is pretty good, but if I don't make a proper cuvre for the 80mm MAF I will definitely have issues.

Good eyes, it's actually an 04 CVPI box, but it's the exact same as the Marauder box, was just the first year for the new slot style MAF.

I actually thought about using the integrated on in the MAF, as it would be easy enough to change the values in Binary Editor to match the lower intake ones, but the air temp sensor in the lower intake works fine so I just left it as is.

the lower intake sensor will read quite a bit warmer than the MAF, just so you know (for adjustments and all).

That's why I said I'd have to change the values in BE to match what the lower intake would read.....
It would actually be quite easy but why fix what's not broken.

thats sort of why I asked, wasn't sure how you were handling it, if at all. Easy way is to just not have to muck with it.

Fuel pump time! Also note that my fuel pump has apparently just been flopping around hanging on by the hose.

The bracket wasn't in the rubber "holder" that the pump sits in at all. The pump and the rubber thing it sits in were just kinda rockin' out on the fuel line.

Correct, the air box is the same. but keep in mind the MAF transfer function is completely different between the 2 style sensors.

From the MZT FAQ; "Note 2004+ CVPI 80mm MAF transfer function is different from the Marauder 80mm unit - the MAFs are not interchangeable using the same tune. The Marauder MAF also supports higher peak airflow"
