    Watchdog's P72 lives again!!!

I thought i would reboot my reader's rides thread with a look at all the work that has been done to my 1991 LTD P72.

The day i went to pick her up at the Century Maintenance Garage.

    The 351-W

The car was solid and all there but non running. That's why I only paid 350.00 for it. The first thing she needed was a bath. Then I could see what I really had.

After a good cleaning the project looked a little more do-able.

I got the car to Allie Kats Paint and Body here in Pensacola and he did great work. Not a bad price either.

    Allie Kats does great work!

    And as she sits today.

What is not pictured is the engine work that Roberson's Auto did for me. New Edelbrock 600 CFM 4 bbl carb and intake, fuel pump, water pump, alternator, fan clutch, hoses.

I normally like to turn my own wrenches but time was a factor in getting the car ready to the Chicagoland show this year.

The spot light is going back on but it had to be rebuilt first. It was frozen in place and would not work. Thanks to TRWP72 for the help on that one, and all the other help he has provided. Tomorrow the push bars and the front plate bracket go back on.

Looks good, though I have to admit I dug the green stripe it had. Nice save, doesn't look like it had gotten too bad while sitting, but it probably wasn't far from it.
