Avoid driving Handsome during rush hour...Too many idiot drivers that might "make contact" with your car.

LOL I will NOT be posing with anyone else's cars! I'm a horrible car model. >_<

Thanks for all the nice compliments guys! I'm really enjoying all the attention I get with this car. I've never gotten compliments on any of my cars before. They were all big ol rusted out boats and this is my first nice one.

Oh yeah, and I will never drive it in rush hour. Trust me. I got side swiped in my '91 MGM in rush hour so I know what can happen.

How someone can miss a car as big as an MGM or an LTD is beyond me, but it happens.

That car is in great shape! I have never seen one that nice driving around here. Sounds like the car is in good hands.

            Thank you.

Hey, what do you think my car is worth? Just wondering for the sake of figuring out if it is worth puttng full coverage ins on it.

It has no major mechanical problems, exterior and interior are pretty much spotless (sagging headliner, and a SMALL ding on one door), no rust at all, and very low miles (39K).

Also, is my car supposed to not have a horn? 'Cause it doesn't have one at all. LOL.

Push in the directional lever. You will then here the horn. There should even be a little horn on the lever itself telling you how to sound the horn...if memory serves me correct.

as for what it's worth... you can probably get $2000 for it on the street with the right buyer, but stealerships and appraisers will probably only give you $500-800 for it tops.

The place I got my new tires actually has a set of four in great shape for sale, I was thinking of picking them up for spares... One or two of mine have a few dings or scuff, but nothing major.

LOL Not gonna happen, I was just curious. I went on the NADA website and it said there that it's worth pretty close to $3000... That wasn't taking mileage into consideration though. When the time comes to sell it, it will either be for a Galaxie convertible or another Grand Marquis (as old and as mint as I can find). I've kind of wished, since I got this one, that it was a GM... but I love him just as if he were one.

What are your thoughts about an early 70's LTD convertible?
