    UPDATE!

I dragged home a shifterless column today, bearings are in good shape. Also, I found the engine I am going to use...

A 1997 5.4 SOHC!!! Will probably pop the PI heads on it, not sure about an intake yet. I'm pulling the intake with it as it don't cost me any extra...

    More to come!

Glad to hear you found a column!

Sounds like a good plan with the engine too.

Thanks mang. It ain't tilt, but I really don't need tilt. I have to go back tomm and do more parts snatching, since everything bolted to the motor is included in the price. I plan on snagging an A/C compressor and a 3AG alternator with all the right bracketry  Also, I need to grab as much of the wiring/ECM as I can. Luckily, all 5.4s had COPs.

I saw a pretty cool wood rimblow steering wheel I wanted but didn't grab. It needed some help lol

Don't worry, i'll probably take video of the thing...

And no cutting needed. The rest of the truck, i'll have to cut. My goal is really no firewall mods other than smoothing and installing the a/c stuffs. I really, really don't want to hack-job this thing. The wiring is going to be a pain in my ass though!

Well, the 5.4 SOHC ended up being a bust...

BECAUSE I GOT A 5.4 DOHC!!!! Pulled from a 1999 Navigator. Unknown miles, has a Ford remanufactured tag from 2003 though. Turns over nicely, is pretty much complete, uncut wiring harness, and is all mine for the princely sum of 182 bucks pulled!!!

WHAT THE FUCK I thought the 5.4 DOHC was shelby GT500 only! That's awesome! 0.0

Probably no blower though, but still suh-weet. Thought Navigators only had the CVPI engine.
