Update....
Windows workin', stereo straightened out, alignment done nicely, universals rotors back brakes tranny mount other stuff....
Washed clayed rubbed and waxed this weekend so finally some pics. ('shortly' apparently means a few weeks).
Interior soon (not done yet). You know how you really don't know a car till you wax it? It's hard to tell from the pics but she's starting to show her age paintwise. The wax is like botox

Thanks everyone.
Hemi if your car is as clean as it looks you'll get the drool
So it IS clearcoated Scott? I wasn't sure if we were doing that in 85. That's good news! I think.
I'm with you 91, at first I wasn't taken with the color but it is somewhat striking. I like how it glows in moonlight.
I think the shade is coming around too, I was behind a Flex Limited that was darn near exact last week.
Picked up my first 'extra', an aoooga horn, the kids'll love it (in 2020, when I finally get around to installing it!). I'm currently on the prowl for the 4 note optional horn from the last of the General Motors whales, for the main horn. Or anything interesting really.

the only reason I don't like that light blue color is because some ass in a whale totaled the econobox I was driving at the time... with me in it. Hit me twice... and ran. I tried to follow him, but my 4 banger had no chance catching that v8. I see that color and generally see red - so to speak.

Basically, if you have time experiment with combinations of your stock horns and the cadilac "train" horns and you can end up with something much louder and cooler sounding than just ripping out your old setup and putting all the caddy horns in.

I've said before, the old guy who took care of this car deserves a metal.
It fits the description I was given though, only used for store and church, no highway, 134k divided by 25 years = 5.5 +/- k miles per year, no highway = very little by way of cosmetic front end wear. Although it does have some stone chips above the headlights.
So far only the front end's chrome polished, I polish a little when I'm bored. I use the old 'harder' rule, the harder a bit is to clean, the more you've got to clean it, 'cause everyone else skimps on it
The trim down the sides is a little beat up but presentable. The chrome rocker panel is nice except for a little wave and dent where a disintegrating tire hit it (haven't hooked up with that guy yet Jim). The bumpers are peeling underneath, and there's a little crack on one side of the front one, it's sadly only a matter of time.
Sly, I swear, I was nowhere near where ever you live on whatever day that was
John, thanks for the info! If I'm lucky enough to find those horns I'll work on an irritating symphony until they either sound right, or my neighbors kill me.
Down in the hood the other day I saw/heard a street whip, it had a horn that sounded like a razzberrry. All it needed was a jester hood ornament with light up eyes lol.
I found a rubber pink flamingo in about the right size, I can fill it with foam like great stuff, put a slit in the bottom, and fit it as a temporary hood ornament right over the factory one.
I'll call it the Perogi Express

It was a whale anyways... 98-02 or somewhere in there. I'll get over it eventually. It was some Hispanic kid driving it with a "wife beater" on. Had the 'tude to match the shirt too, so I doubt he would ever be on forums like this.
