Get the paint job, but don't do the goofy wheels or hydraulic crap.

              Please.

I like the stock paint. Its correct for that year and model. The other paint looks good, but its not authentic, and when you're dealing with a car as uncommon as a Mark VI coupe, authentic is good.

X2!!!!!! exactly what Im going to say!

I would leave the original paint alone, but need paint on the trunk lid to fix the rust out...make sure the same colors on the trunk lid as before.

That Lincoln would look sick on 17" or 18" wire wheels. If ya can get white walls like they have on the newer Caddys for those wheels you would have a real looker. Either way, you got a nice car.

old school 15'' wires would be sweet too. the same kinds that came on lincolns back then through custom coach builders. cregar true spokes would be sick too. is the paint that bad on the car?

its descent, not oxidized or anything, but there are a few places where its starting to crack and rust, unnoticeable unless your an inch away from it. Its only a few spots but I still want to get the whole thing done because i dont want to have a few really clean looking spots that stand out. Plus most of the cracks are right where the paint is divided, so ill have to redo the pinstripe and it might be a little hard to keep the line true.

I'll do the body work myself first of course and see how it looks, it may be possible that i might only get the blue redone.

if your going that route, dont skip out on a good paint job. im sure you will prep it right but, make sure it gets sprayed properly since there are alot of corners around the bumpers and i look forard to see the progress on your lincoln!
