Guess I have not updated this in a while lol. Every fall, I have been putting a few parts in the old girl reliable for winter(only drive this wagon for winter), thanks to good deals on rock auto. This fall I did rear wheel cylinders, rear flex line, water pump and coolant flush. I flush coolant every 3 years anyway.

Today, I did a little driving quality upgrade. I do more late night winter driving now, than I once did. So, I wanted to install some decent fog lights. Nice amber flood lighting is what I wanted since, amber works pretty good in snow. Really did not want to get into installing auxiliary lighting so, I ran into these

They are a sealed flood beam light from wagner. They are old stock and been discontinued for years. Was lucky and found some on e-bay. Going to wait for night fall and see how they work. When I hooked them up to a battery last week, they seemed very bright. After that, snow driving will be the test.

I thought so too. Kind of like an old, rough and still semi badass look lol.

Also should mention, I flipped the pig tail on the low beams so, they would go out when the high beam switch was activated. That way, its just the ambers running. I may do something with LEDs though, to use up the available circuit on the low side. Maybe.

Nice! How did the amber beams end up working out for you at night?

It did. He bought a '96 mark VIII to replace it. Im going to get the body fixed up a tad then, give it to my old man.

The seem to work pretty good. Came home through some snow last night and they do the trick. They do what they need to do, provide light that does not reflect of the snow. Just need to do a side adjustment to the right side light.
