Pics at last. And a vid comming shortly.
The Engine with it's H.O intake on and new valve cover gaskets. And Red is the colour of choice . (The stuff that is still that blue green colour will be going red also.) I Found the H.O intake throttle body and Bored EGR spacer made a differnce. The car is still no rocketship but its got alot more pep in it now. The engine is happy it can finaly breath.

I also wen't ahead and put a tach and oil gauge in.

New GT Grant steering wheel. Just need to get the proper adapter so I Can put it on to stay

And just a few cool pics

that factory airbox looks a lot better painted. gonna do that to mine when the car has a few hours to rest for the paint to dry. plenum also looks good man.

did you use a high heat paint? dont know if i should for the airbox or not, already painted my intake with some.

Looks good. I think I may have to steal the two-tone airbox idea. Can't wait to see more.

Well I guess i am going to hijack this thread a bit (no better place than here) and post some more pictures of the 89 from its new home.

I have been working on cleaning it all up. cleaned the vinyl top and noticed that some of the red was bleading through the white, and also noticed that much of the paint below the body side modling was pretty beat from the lack of mud flaps over he years, i decided to go in another direction. the top had been refinished in Taupe finish, and rather than matching the white to repaint the rockers we matched the roof.

                            Enjoy....

Next the paint is going to be touched up where required, cut and polished to bring it back up to a nice shine.
