        It actually was very easy.
        I had it out only 7,000 miles ago.
        And I anti-seized the shit out of it when I installed it last.

        I need to get an aluminum separator plate between the engine and transmission. Both the engine and transmission are aluminum and the plate it steel. No bueno.

          Surprised its steel. Even the 302 had an aluminum spacer.

                      Finally had a chance to get back out in the garage. I reconnected the harness, installed the dipstick, and managed to get the cross member in along with the rear mount.
                      I should be really close to finishing tonight.

                          I picked one up at the Ford dealership the next day. $5.

                          I got the torque converter bolts in, linkage installed and adjusted, drive shaft in, cooler lines connected, new studs installed in the passenger side exhaust manifold, and I repaired one of the starter leads.
                          Tonight consists of swapping pans, installing the starter and cats. Then it's time to start it up.
