    My 86 Crown Vic

Hey guys. This is the 86 Crown Vic I've been working on. I finally got it running. I dropped my gas tank in my 88 Grand Marquis and put in it the Crown Vic. Then it wasnt getting any fire, so I replaced the distributor with my 88. She runs okay now. I'm going to put some new Valve cover gaskets on it and new plugs. The transmission seems fine. I also had just gave it a bath so I'll post some better pics of it tomorrow. As you can tell I put my aluminum rims on it. LOL. I dont think the color is that bad on it now the more I look at it. I'll have to see it in the daytime. Let me know what ya think.

It's about the same color as Toby (the dog) LOL

              '79-'81 Style
'82 had the small holes like the earlier style plus the ford emblem.
'83-'87 got larger grill holes, and the ford emblem.

welp. I guess that makes it an 82 grill. Its stamped Ford on it. I wonder if that makes it a rare grill? hmmm

No no, the stamped FORD is '79-'81, if you got the blue oval then it would be the '82. And yes the '82 is very rare. Kinda like the '79 clears.

It looks rough, but that can easily be fixed up. Are you gonna swap the goodies over from the '88?

                        Nice! Looks workable.

My old '87 was the exact same color, only with a Brown Interior. If you ever need any help working on it, I would be happy to come and help a fellow mang out when I have some free time.

I'm not sure yet. I didnt think the body was too rough. The driver side and back door has some denting in it. Not bad though.
